Molly Peterson - President / Director

Molly rescued her first dog from death row in 2000 and hasn't stopped since!
It was at a shelter in LA that she learned about dog rescue and soon thereafter served as the Vice
President for All Retriever's Friends in L.A.
Molly graduated with a BS in Psychology from California Lutheran University. When she moved to Texas,
she began working with Flower Mound Humane Society and also served on the intake team with DFW Lab
Rescue as well as fostering for DFW Cocker Rescue and Animal Guardians.
Now, as President of Collin County Humane Society, Molly does for animals what many can only dream of
doing as she continues to foster dogs in her own home. Molly’s husband, Eric, supports her
cause and is always helping her think of new and innovative ways to get the community involved.

Tressa Broadhead - Vice President

Tressa grew up in Southern California and moved to Texas in 1997.
Tressa received her degree in Psychology from Texas Women's University and works in the fitness
business, but her passion is saving dogs!
Tressa has a psycho yorkie mix named Max, a shy, sweet Pom Mix named Roxy, a Crazy hyper Husky
named Cali and two cats, Allie and Gracie. Her husband Zane, and Daughter Sierra help keep the pack
in line and assists with fosters.

Kevin Olney - Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator

Kevin grew up on Long Island, NY and moved to Texas the summer of 09’.
Kevin is currently a college student, receiving a degree in Nursing, while working at an assisted
living facility. He’s had a passion for rescuing dogs since High School, and loves success stories.
He has two dogs: Travis, a golden retriever, and Fancy, an Aussie mix.
Kevin helps CCHS by working tirelessly to find donations and fundraising ventures for CCHS. Kevin
is a huge asset to the CCHS team and was welcomed to the board in 2010!

Ann Nemazie - Web Management

Ann is a Freelance Web Developer who specializes in custom design and redesign of websites.
Ann is originally from Long Island, New York and moved to Texas 19 years ago just before her daughter
Samantha was born. They have two sweet pomeranians, Peanut and Pumpkin who are definitely spoiled
on a daily basis!
Ann joined our group in October of 2011 to redesign and develope our website. Ann went above and beyond
in dedicating countless hours of hard work to achieve this goal and at the end of November 2011, our new website
went LIVE! Ann has met and exceeded our expectations and continues to do so as the Webmaster of our website.

Lisa Weinstein - Treasurer

Lisa is originally from Connecticut and moved to Plano at a young age.
From there she moved South to San Marcos to get her BA. Lisa has since returned to
the DFW area to pursue her creative ways as a buyer for Domistyle.
Lisa joined CCHS in March 2008 to help track the finances, adoptions and donations. A huge
thanks goes out to Lisa, we couldn't function without her organizational skills! Lisa also
helps w/ emergency foster situations; for a full week, weekends, or even a few days, her
foster help is greatly appreciated!
Lisa has a mixed breed dog named Percy who is a little firecracker!

Karen Creel - Secretary

Karen was elected as secretary for CCHS in 2009. She is in charge of checking and replying to the daily phone calls
into the CCHS mainline. She also writes thank you notes to everyone who donates to CCHS and puts together the welcome
packets and runs adoption events. Karen helps make decisions for CCHS, she is truly an integral part of the board!
Karen has always had a soft heart for animals, especially dogs. Her family has two dogs, Ginger a Cocker/Jack Russell
mix and Lacey a Pek/Chi mix which are both rescues. Karen's two daughters also
share her love of rescuing dogs and found Lacey whose owners were an older couple that had to go
into assisted living. Karen loves the volunteer work she does for CCHS and also fosters many of CCHS
rescues which is greatly appreciated!

Ashley Pickering - Advisory Board Mentor, Southeast Territory

Ashley rescued her first dog during college in North Carolina and hasn't stopped since!
Ashley was elected to join the CCHS board in 2010 as the Advisory Board Mentor. Her roll with CCHS
includes helping to train new fosters to the CCHS foster program and facilitating the day to day
functions of CCHS. She covers the Wylie area.... and beyond. Ashley helps train new recruits and
serves as their mentor as they take on the challenging roll of being a foster parent. Ashley's other
roll on the board involves making difficult decisions about CCHS goals and the needs of the dogs in
the adoption program.
Ashley is married to one very patient husband; together they have 2 girls, 4 dogs, and 2 cats that are always
running away from the dogs. Ashley and her entire family are all deeply involved with the process
of caring for and adopting out their fosters. "After all, the family that rescues together, stays together."

Stacy Hague - Advisory Board Mentor, North West Territory

Stacy is a native Texan, raised in Carrollton and has been in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area for over 20 years.
Stacy is an Advisory Board Member elected to the CCHS board in 2011. Her roll with CCHS includes
training new fosters to the CCHS foster program and helping CCHS with their goal and plans. She
covers the North West area (including Flower Mound, Denton, The Colony.... and beyond). She helps
train new recruits and serves as their mentor as they take on the challenging roll of being a
foster parent.
Stacy has five children, one grandson and drives a school bus for LISD. Stacy started rescuing dogs
in 2007 when she lost her 14 year old Dalmatian and her basset needed a friend. She adopted her
first rescue at that time and has been fostering ever since!

Vanessa Brammer - Advisory Board Mentor

Vanessa was born and raised in Costa Rica. She came to the U.S.A. in '99 with a full scholarship and
attended Louisiana College, taught E.S.L grades K-9 for two years and then moved to Texas.
Vanessa is an Advisory Board Member elected to the CCHS board in 2011. Her roll with CCHS includes
training new fosters to the CCHS foster program and helping CCHS with their goal and plans. She
covers the McKinney area and beyond as she helps train new recruits and serves as their mentor
as they take on the challenging roll of being a foster parent.
Vanessa rescued and adopted Tago, a yellow lab, then decided it was time for him to have a
sister. So she adopted Faith, a shepherd mix from the Mckinney SPCA. Vanessa
wanted to do more to help all the dogs that were being abused and neglected, so she
contacted CCHS and has been fostering puppies ever since!
Only with your help and the help of this wonderful team, does CCHS have the ability to save all the dogs they do!
